A sultry, soulful song stylist and prolific songwriter, Gwen Majors has a captivating stage presence. Born in Martinez, CA, but raised in Los Angeles, Majors has toured internationally, including a performance for the King of Singapore, and has shared the stage with James Brown, En Vogue, and many others. Featuring L. J. Reynolds of The Dramatics, she penned her first club joint, “All I Wanna Do Is Dance,” which became a major hit with the Oakland club scene. She was honored with the opportunity to record the Motown classic, “Your Precious Love,” with the Emperor of Soul himself—the late, great Ali Woodson of the Temptations. This was Woodson’s last recording before his passing. Using meaningful lyrics with singable hooks and intricate melodies, Gwen stays true to her mission to “keep Soul alive.”
