Batten down the hatches! Renowned for her savvy musicianship and original approach to the electric guitar, Jennifer Batten brings her unique multimedia show to the Fenix stage. With electronic rhythms and vocal samples as the backdrop, Batten shred on her guitar in sync with projected films.

Batten is best known for having toured with Michael Jackson’s band for 10 years, including the “Bad,” “Dangerous,” and “HIStory” world tours and at Super Bowl XXVII, which aired to 1.5 billion people in 80 nations. She’s also played for British guitar icon Jeff Beck, touring with his band for three years and recording two albums. Aside from a stint playing for Cirque Du Soleil’s “Zumanity” show in Las Vegas, Batten has been touring with her one-woman multimedia show for the last 6 years. She has released three solos albums and her most recent, Whatever, includes a 90-minute DVD featuring her art films, music videos, interviews, commentary, and an instructive guitar lesson.
