Pro Blues Jam: Linda Imperial

Linda Imperial has electrified and entertained audiences around the world with her powerful vocals and unforgettable stage presence. As LIB’s band leader and composer, she began her career with San Francisco rockers Kid Courage and quickly established herself in a variety of other genres, including jazz, dance, and trance. Her list of credits and associations includes The New York Jazz Explosion, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Jefferson Starship, Sylvester, The Weather Girls, and many more.

The band’s lineup also includes Peter Harris, a former guitarist with the JGB, who delivers blistering licks and solid grooves; David Kaffinetti on keys, known by many as “Viv Savage” in the movie This is Spinal Tap; drummer Doug Freedman, who’s toured with Iron Butterfly and played with Vital Signs, recording the soundtrack for Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure; and bassist Steve Valverde, who has toured with many groups as well as recording and performing with Chris Rowan of the Rowan Brothers.
