Mo Betta Jazz is Kymberly “Kj” Jackson, Tammy Lynne Hall-Hawkins, Leon Joyce Jr., and Kevin J Scott. Together, they push the limits of Jazz, bringing heavy influences from Funk, Soul, and R&B.

Kymberly Jackson, also known as Kj, is a dynamic Jazz-Funk-R&B flutist, vocalist, composer, producer, and recording artist. Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, Jackson began classical training at 12. She received her Masters in Music from Mills College in Oakland, CA, and was afforded the opportunity to study under world-renowned Classical flutists, Angela Koregelos and Priscilla Call.

Kj has recorded and performed with some of the most well known Jazz and R&B artists: Gerald Albright, Jeff Lorber, Donny Osmond, Stevie Wonder, Karen White, D’Wayne Wiggins, Pete and Juan Escovedo, El DeBarge, Norman Brown, Ricardo Scales, Walter Beasley, among others.
