Another bright star out of Oakland, CA, Nikita Germaine’s music will move your body, while her voice will touch your soul.

She debuted her first solo album, Sweet As It Comes, with Motown Records, but later signed with Family Tree Records and released her sophomore album, Just Kita, in 2008. Often compared to Nancy Wilson, Sarah Vaughan, and Dinah Washington, she’s worked extensively with Grammy-winning producer Narada Michael Walden and is currently a member of the Grammy-winning band, Train. Germaine is well-known for co-writing Diana Ross’ “Take Me Higher” and was a vocal force behind Whitney Houston’s “Bodyguard.” She has performed with Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Patti Austin, and the legendary Carlos Santana.
