Chanel Gouveia

Chanel Gouveia is highly regarded as Phoenix, Arizona’s finest versatile vocalist. Attracting a variety of audiences, her versatility includes an array of music—from R&B, Jazz, and Pop to Contemporary, Country, and Blues. Her warm, clear tones and meticulously controlled pitch carry an illusion of effortlessness, while her sultry renditions of Classic Jazz standards and Contemporary music wins immediate acceptance by any audience. Born in the Motown Capital that is Detroit, Gouveia is often compared to Toni Braxton, Whitney Houston, Rachelle Ferrell, and Phyllis Hyman.

In addition to regular appearances throughout the state of Arizona, Chanel Gouveia has also had the privilege of performing in Detroit, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Chanel has repeatedly challenged herself throughout her singing career, and became part of the touring “Ladies in Pink” in 2009—an all-women Jazz production, featuring Gail Johnson, Althea Rene, and Karen Briggs.
