Linda Dorsey is a multi-medium performer from Oakland, CA. She began her career as a modern ballet dancer and received her BA from UC Irvine. She toured extensively with Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble, but eventually transitioned into singing and quickly started touring Japan and recording with Paul Jackson (Herbie Hancock) and Bobby Watson (Rufus). Upon returning to the US, she studied at NYU and performed in powerhouse roles like The Acid Queen and most recently as Paulette in Legally Blonde. Dorsey boasts training at Teatro di Piza in Italy, and is a former member of Women of Soul.
Linda’s performance will be a tribute to the victims of the September 11th tragedy. She was living in New York and witnessed the events first hand.
