Roger Glenn Jazz Organ Trio

Born into Jazz royalty, Roger Glenn is the son of Tyree Glenn (who played with Cab Calloway, Duke Ellington, and Louis Armstrong). Roger had an early and intense hands-on introduction to Jazz and the Jazz greats. He has performed, toured, and recorded with legends Dizzy Gillespie, Herbie Mann, Peaches and Herb, Bobby Hutcherson, and ConFunkShun. Leon’s musical career started in high school, but he developed his real music chops when he joined the Marine Corps in 1976. Leon has worked with Ramsey Lew, Nancy Wilson, Smokey Robinson, Teena Marie, Howard Hewitt, Norman Connors, Tom Browne, James Carter, and Patti LaBelle, to name a few. Wayne De La Cruz began his musical endeavors at the age of 9 by playing drums and vibraphone, but eventually found “the one,” the organ. He bought his first Hammond organ at the age of 16, and since then has played on nothing else.
